ELBIE PIOTROWSKI

Elbie Piotrowski

Principal & Teacher Grades 5-8

Elbie Piotrowski brings over 28 years of teaching experience, having taught Biology, Physical Science, and Ecology to various Middle and High School grades in the United States and in South Africa.   Elbie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, reflecting her deep passion for teaching and the natural sciences.  Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her family, and taking walks with their dog, Sasha.

Roselle Catampatan

Nicole Nase

Kindergarten and 1st Grade Teacher

Nicole Nase is a dedicated Christian educator with experience teaching students across elementary, junior academy, and secondary grade levels. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts Education from Southern Adventist University and is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. 

Throughout her career, Nicole has served in both teaching and school leadership roles, gaining valuable experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and school improvement. Nicole believes education is about far more than academics. She is passionate about nurturing the whole child—supporting students as they grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually while helping them discover the unique person God created them to be.

When she is not teaching, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, staying active through strength training, decorating her home, and making memories with her daughter, Josephine (Josie).

Roselle Catampatan

Roselle Catampatan

Teacher Grades 2-4

Mrs. Roselle Catampatan is a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines. She holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education and has 14 years of experience in teaching and school administration. Her specialization lies in making Mathematics engaging, relevant, and enjoyable for her students. Beyond academic achievement, she places strong emphasis on character development and spiritual growth, fostering a holistic educational experience for the learners under her guidance.

“I love teaching because I see education as a powerful tool for witnessing for Christ. It’s rewarding to be part of the growth and development of students, not just academically, but also personally—being able to make a positive impact on their lives and help them discover their potential.”

Schwanda Morgan

Schwanda Morgan

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Morgan began her teaching career four years ago at Whitehall Christian Elementary, teaching the PreK- Kindergarten class.  She is currently attending Penn Foster College to obtain her degree in Early Childhood Education. Most importantly she enjoys having her students interact with nature.

“I believe that through the creations of God, children are able to learn to see in nature an expression of the love and the wisdom of God. I am truly passionate about teaching little hearts and minds, with so much love! I also take great pride in sharing the love of Jesus with his greatest treasure…little children!”

School Pastors

Pastor Isaac Catampatan

Pastor Isaac Catampatan is from the Philippines with a diverse experience in ministry. He has served as a Literature Evangelist, Church Planter, District Pastor, Bible Teacher, and School Chaplain . He holds a Bachelor degrees in Arts in Philosophy of Religion, Theology, and Elementary Education. Currently, he is completing his Master of Divinity degree at Andrews University. Pastor Isaac is serving as the pastor of the Allentown, Easton, and Hope Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Churches.

“My passion in ministry focuses on promoting discipleship, evangelism, mission, and service, impacting the school, church, and community. The most essential lessons for teachers and students to learn are those which point, not to the world, but from the world to the cross of Christ.”

Pastor Mark Piotrowski

Mark Piotrowski is a pastor with a rich background in ministry and Christian education. He has served as a school pastor and administrator in various locations and served as the education superintendent for all Seventh-day Adventist Schools in North and South Dakota.

Mark and his wife, Elbie, who is the principal of Whitehall Christian School, have two daughters who both attended Adventist Christian Schools throughout their school careers. Mark has pastored in various places, including South Africa, the states of Georgia, and the Dakotas. He loves to share the love of Christ with students and guide them in their faith walk with Jesus.  Mark holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University in Michigan and is a certified Natural Church Development coach.

I uphold the Biblical principles of education, believing that children are a gift from God and should be empowered to develop their physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of life to the optimum”

Cristina Gruver

Cristina was born and grew up in Colombia, South America. She came to the United States when she was 22 years old. She has a Master’s degree in Spanish and French from Kutztown University. While working at the Allentown School District as Spanish and French teacher, she acquired another Master’s degree from DeSales University in Teaching of English Learners. Cristina worked at the Allentown School District for 10 years and at Southern Lehigh School District for 16 years. Cristina decided to retire two years ago and is presently serving at Whitehall Christian School as a teacher’s assistant in the grade 5-8 classroom.

“I believe education is a key to empowering today’s students, so they feel confident in their future relationships, careers, and duties as members of their communities. I believe we as teachers help students embrace new information and new ways of seeing the world around them.”

DeborahMcPherson

Deborah McPherson

Deborah McPherson has been teaching for over 35 years. Before and after graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology, she taught in both public and parochial schools. Deborah homeschooled her children in their early years. Her skillsets have been honed in the creative arts (music, sewing, art, craft, interior decorating, technical design), and also early childhood literacy. Deborah subscribes to the philosophy of educating the head, heart and hand.

“I believe that children are the heritage of the Lord and are also precious in His sight therefore I find this an opportunity to be a part of a team who is committed to rendering quality education while honoring the Lord.
From my prior teaching experience, I recognize that there is a uniqueness in these students at Whitehall Christian School and I feel confident that they can benefit from the skillsets that I possess.
