WCS Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

At Whitehall Christian School, we view Christian education as an investment in your child’s future. The parents of many of our students, agreeing with our philosophy, have sacrificed financially in order to send their children to our school, and we believe that God will bless and honor their sacrifice.
We at WCS also realize that some families are more able to afford a Christian education than others. We have therefore attempted to keep our tuition low and we try to help families who want their children to have a Christian education but might be struggling financially.
Unfortunately, because of our small size and already low tuition, Whitehall Christian School is unable to offer extensive financial assistance. Having said that, here are some ways we have worked with families to help:

  • Tuition reduction is available for members of the constituent churches that support WCS
  • A limited number of scholarships are available for students whose families are in financial need. A scholarship application form is available by clicking on this link: Scholarship Application .  Contact the school treasurer for details, requirements, and  questions and to submit an application.
  • Our school participates in the PFE (Partnership for Eternity) program which offers some financial assistance for a limited number of students.  Preference is given to families with the greatest need, and is on a first come, first served basis.  Basic information about the PFE program is available by clicking on the following link.  PFE Program   Contact the school treasurer for details, requirements, questions, and how to apply.
  • Some parents have been able to find sponsors for their child from relatives and/or members of their local church.  It is the parent’s responsibility to find sponsors if they so desire.

Any financial aid is for the duration of the current school year only.  A new financial aid request must be made for each school year if desired.

  • Through the EITC (Education Improvement Tax Credit) donor program, there is a need-based partial scholarship available on a first come, first served basis for any student who needs financial assistance to help pay for tuition.
  • Our school also participates in the PFE (Partnership for Eternity) tuition grant program. The PFE Program   provides tuition assistance for families in need, while giving students an opportunity to serve others in their community. There are only a limited number of PFE grants available, and preference is given to families with the greatest need on a first come, first served basis. Because of the limited number of grants available:
    • It is expected, if a PFE grant is made available to a student, that he/she will participate faithfully in the program.
    • A student who chooses to participate in the PFE Program is accepting a serious commitment to their mentor. If a student fails to meet the weekly requirements of the PFE Program, he/she may be removed from the program and the grant will be reassigned to another eligible student. Parents of a student removed from the program will then be responsible for the amount of tuition that the grant was providing.
  • Some parents have been able to find sponsors for their child from relatives and/or members of their local churches. It is the parent’s responsibility to find sponsors if they so desire.
  • Financial aid applications are available from the Administrative Assistant/Treasurer at the school. Based on the information provided in the application, eligibility and the extent of the need will be determined by the WCS Finance Committee. Financial assistance is based solely on need, and WCS does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin. Funds are made available on a first come, first served basis.

At Whitehall Christian School, your child will discover his or her God-given potential, make lifelong friends, learn to serve, and graduate ready to make a difference in their community and around the world. While this will require the investment of your financial resources, we believe you will see that this is a worthy investment in your child.

Through the EITC (Education Improvement Tax Credit) donor program, there is a need-based partial scholarship available on a first come, first served basis for any student who needs financial assistance to help pay for tuition.

In order to be eligible for the EITC Scholarship, parents must fill out a general financial aid application, as well as an EITC application.

Both applications are available from the Treasurer at the school.

Based on the information provided in the application, eligibility and the extent of the need will be determined by the WCS Finance Committee.
