Monday through Thursday: 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Do WCS students wear a uniform?

We desire that students have a standard of dress that is modest and neat.  Our dress guidelines for students in all grade levels can be found in the Parental Handbook.

Do you offer transportation service?

Because of the size of our school, transportation is limited.  In most cases, the surrounding public school systems within which the student resides (Allentown*, Bethlehem, Northampton, Parkland, and Whitehall-Coplay) will provide bus transportation.  A form requesting bus transportation from your particular school district will be provided with your registration packet.

To request transportation from your home school district, you must fill out an Act 372 request form. At registration you will receive the form.  Please sign and return the form to our school office, we will forward it to the school district.

What are your technology device requirements?

There are no technology requirements necessary during the school day, although access to a home computer can be helpful in completing home assignments.  Please see our “Technology Use Policy” page accessible from the “Parental Resources” drop-down menu for more information.

When can I apply and do classes ever fill up?

We encourage you to begin the application process as early as possible to secure your spot and avoid a wait list situation. WCS accepts applications throughout the year as space is available.  More information on our application process can be found under the “Admissions” menu on our home page.

How old does our student need to be to attend WCS?

How are your admissions decisions made?

Our principal will review your completed application, supplemental forms, and references to verify that the student aligns both academically and spiritually with our school’s mission.

Our school does participate in the PFE (Partnership for Eternity) program which offers some financial assistance for a limited number of students.  Preference is given to families with the greatest need, and is on a first come, first served basis. More information about the PFE program is available from the school Treasurer.

Some parents have been able to find sponsors for their child from relatives and/or members of their local churches.  It is the parent’s responsibility to find sponsors if they so desire.

Any financial aid is for the duration of the current school year only.
A new financial aid request must be made for each school year if desired.

Do you offer a Multi-Student Discount?

WCS offers a 10% discount on tuition for each additional, non-constituent, grade 1-8 child, from the same family, enrolled at the school.

Is Whitehall Christian School accredited?

Yes. The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) recognizes the Whitehall Christian School as a Pennsylvania State registered school. The National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) accredits the school.

What is your Pre-K and Kindergarten curriculum?
Our curriculum for Pre-K and Kindergarten is designed to prepare students for what they will experience throughout the Grade 1-8 elementary school. 

What is your grade 1 –8 curriculum?

Our curriculum for grade 1 –8 curriculum is designed to prepare students for each succeeding grade level, and eventually a high school curriculum. 

How can I keep up with my student’s progress?

Your student’s assignments and grades can be viewed in Jupiter, our online learning platform, throughout each quarter. Grade cards are distributed electronically each quarter.  In addition to regularly scheduled conferences, we encourage you to contact your student’s teacher when you have questions or concerns.

Do you use technology in the classroom?

Technology is integrated throughout our curriculum.  Computers, tablets, and smart boards are used as appropriate for instruction in our classrooms.

What services do you have available for students who need support?

Whitehall Christian School partners with the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit to provide certain types of support for students who need it.  To find out if WCS can provide support particular to your student’s needs, please contact our principal.

What service opportunities are available to students?

School sponsored service projects vary by grade level and give students and teachers the opportunity to be a positive witness for Christ in our community.

How is the Bible integrated into curriculum?
Students at every grade level have Bible instruction as a part of the curriculum.  In every classroom, teachers integrate a Christian worldview into their teaching and make the most of practical, teachable moments to connect the Bible to real life.

Does my child have to belong to any particular religion or denomination to attend Whitehall Christian School?

Absolutely not, though you and your child will gain the  most benefit if you are a Christian or at least sympathetic with Christian beliefs. 

At WCS, students’ freedom to think for themselves is respected and nurtured, and students are encouraged to learn how to make good moral decisions regardless of their creed or belief system.  We strongly believe that no one should be pressured into church membership, but join willingly as they choose.
